I never thought a day would come when I couldn't hug friends and family. But like you, I love being at home, and have endless projects and things I need to work on. I've been sewing masks for our local nursing home and starting seeds in the greenhouse, as well as lots of spring cleaning efforts. I love the lights that you found at your parent's home. May the blessings of the Lord be with you! In some ways (in our house) we've become kinder and more patient during this time, and then all of a sudden someone's fuse just blows. So weird. All of it provides opportunity for practicing and receiving grace. So I hang onto that. And I love the candles! What a nice thing for people to do. My son gets visits from parrots. They are very noisy. He lives in the town of Orange, CA. I don't get board at home but I'm also not cleaning! That's not a good thing. The flower is beautiful. That is a beautiful idea with the candles. Take care and stay well. "All the more reason for us who are believers to be calm and steady in this unprecedented situation." How true! I actually just watched a really encouraging video about this on The Fuel Project (a wonderful, God-honouring YouTube channel). Thank you for sharing today... We put out our flag every day to show our support for our President and our country. Yes, your analogy of the first grade really rings true! I love that. Sounds like you are keeping plenty busy during these days. We try to take a walk every day, and since I am still recuperating from surgery, I mostly take pictures while hubby walks. I am doing a lot of reading, which I enjoy. Not much cleaning, etc., as I am still not quite ready for that much activity. (will I EVER be ready for cleaning? hmmm...I may stretch this thing out a bit longer...LOL). I know you must be ready for spring to appear. We have had almost summer weather here, and I wonder where spring went. Although we had a rain storm come through last night (much needed rain), and it will be cooler for a few days...so I hope to get outside and enjoy it while I can. Have a blessed and beautiful day. Yes, God IS in control, and we need not fear. Pamela M. Steinerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04060656432106792419noreply@blogger.com
