Foliage season is barely started here; just a colorful tree here and there. Even way up north where we were last weekend, the foliage was far from peak.
I'll leave you with a multicolored leaf, this one also found today. It's not as perfect, but I love the combination of colors and the yellow veins. Enjoy!
Very little color here either...a little more in the low-lying swampy areas. Beautiful leaf and healthy, too...no signs of disease. The multi-colored ones are so interesting. I always call such trees mustard, ketchup, and relish trees. Not too dear a description...perhaps confetti tree would be better.

I always enjoy the multicolored leaves too. Like your way of describing them. Guess confetti would be a prettier term, as you say. As a child viewing the autumn hillsides from the windows of a school bus, I always saw them as multicolored candies. Not sure why.
Back to work -- just taking a breather after killing a mouse with a broom! A first for me ... gets the heart rate up. I wasn't about to spend the rest of the day wondering where in my kitchen he was going to appear next#
