IN THE GARDEN AFTER LOTS AND LOTS OF RAIN

Recipes, memories and random thoughts from my kitchen
Graphic from Baptist Bible Hour I read this poem in Streams in the Desert Volume 2 and was so blessed by it, I thought I would share ...
I need to just print these and put them up in my sewing room for inspiration. It is finally cool in the mornings here. If feels good to be outside again. I feel some long walks coming on.
ReplyDeleteIt's getting cooler here too, Sandy, about 38º this morning! Glad my hubby's workplace photography is inspiring someone!
DeleteOOH, these are beautiful! He really took some great pictures, that big beautiful maple just stole my heart too... just majestic and glorious! Thank you for sharing these pictures :)
ReplyDeleteAren't they so pretty, Marilyn? The colors are simply incredible this year. I have noticed quite a number of trees that have more than one color. Red and orange, for instance, and there is one smallish tree near my dad's that is yellow with a swath of dark red leaves. God is the Master Artist, for sure.
DeleteBeautiful!! Our trees are just starting to turn here as we have finally gotten some colder weather...
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Deb
Oh, that's nice that your trees are beginning to turn there in PA, Deb. It's getting cooler here too and yesterday was very windy so we lost a lot of leaves. Today is still cool, but sunny and absolutely gorgeous!
DeleteGlorious! The colors are so vibrant this year. Peak week here so I hope that I can capture some pretties, too.
ReplyDeleteAren't they gorgeous, Vee? That big orange tree is just so striking.
DeleteCan't wait to see your photos of fall foliage. I know they'll be amazing.
