I have a sweet little vintage jadeite tea set my MIL gave me many years ago. In our previous house I had a perfect spot to display it. Not so much here, but to think it's been in a box for over 20 years is a little disturbing. Not sure I'm going to pull it out any time soon, but I'm so glad to be reminded of it.Beckihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16940604077427078249noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15265988.post-23169013358070601972020-11-24T18:55:27.679-05:002020-11-24T18:55:27.679-05:00Hi Mrs T,

I think people are feeling so unsettled, as well they should, that they need the comfort of Christmas decor. To each her own.

Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving! Not much, but nevertheless I caved. I love Thanksgiving and never ever in my life have I put up Christmas before Thanksgiving. They are both such wonderful holidays. The thought of ending November with the the blessings bestowed on us by God is HUGE! Then beginning the celebration of Jesus. I am sad that the year has turned things upside down, but I am with you on the sovereignty of our Lord. He has this! I am giving thanks in a smaller way, but honestly I have never been more thankful than now. I do hope that we never lose Thanksgiving as an important holiday and time to stop to realize how blessed we have been.Sandyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10185422453541735778noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15265988.post-75389575739539875842020-11-24T15:44:33.338-05:002020-11-24T15:44:33.338-05:00Dear Mrs. T., although we celebrated Thanksgiving ...Dear Mrs. T., although we celebrated Thanksgiving in October, we are still counting our blessings every day. It has been a very rough year for us here in our home but we are continually thankful for what we have and how God takes care of us. Because we celebrate the holiday earlier than our American friends, I am able to decorate for Christmas a little earlier and I am doing that because Christmas makes me happy. Thank you for sharing with us at my party and I wish you a Happy Thanksgiving!Sandi@ Rose Chintz Cottagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17415214311003251398noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15265988.post-67057078296407642052020-11-24T15:18:53.800-05:002020-11-24T15:18:53.800-05:00This was lovely, Mrs. T! I prefer to celebrate one holiday at the time, much like you. I think they are each too special to try and run them together. But I do understand many are needing some extra "joy" this year, especially with not really feeling like they can celebrate Thanksgiving in the usual way. I hope you and your family have a blessed and wonderful day on Thanksgiving! We have much to be thankful for.Pamela M. Steinerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04060656432106792419noreply@blogger.com
