Two of the first leaves to fall
In the past couple of weeks, I've noticed fallen leaves here and there on the ground. These leaves are usually damaged in some way, but they are often unusually pretty. I often scan these pretty, early leaves, then throw them away. It's a good way to "preserve" their beauty for years to come.
I love the red and green in the leaf at the top of the post.
Then there is this one:
It's slightly misshapen, as if it just didn't grow quite right. But the shades of green, yellow, orange, and even a bit of red, are uniquely lovely. It's such a blessing to view God's artistry in His creation!
Hope you've enjoyed this peek at the beginning of our foliage season!
It is still pretty green down here but some leaves are starting to change color. It is a beautiful time of the year.
ReplyDeleteAlways pretty! We miss the colors here in Florida. We see bits here and there, but are usually just green all year long.
ReplyDeleteIt must be the season because I took a photo of a leaf last week. Scanning them is a very good way to save their beauty.
