I will post more about this in the next few days, but we just returned from a wonderful overnight getaway to the coast of Maine.
We stayed in a charming seaside inn, enjoyed delightful food, Christmasy decor and lights inside and out, walked on a beach, and just had a relaxing, refreshing time. I even got a few Christmas cards written and worked on a small handmade gift.
Tomorrow it will be back to the busyness of life and of the season, but I am coming back to it rested and refreshed.
OH, how lovely!!! That sounds perfect!! So happy for you! Can't wait to see and hear more about it! Was it cold and snowy there where you walked on the beach? Still, I'm sure it was beautiful and relaxing. Merry Christmas!!
