There's not a lot left to say, other than, "Please Vote!" It's your right, your privilege, and your responsibility as a citizen. If you have not yet voted (or even if you're thinking about not voting!), you will be encouraged by these
Six words to remember in the voting booth. Please do check these out. They don't tell you who to vote for, just some important principles to remember.
So if you haven't yet, prayerfully cast your ballot and then leave the outcome in God's all-powerful hands.
(The beautiful graphic at the top is by Abby at
Little Birdie Blessings, who has generously shared it with her readers. Thank you, Abby!)
Sadly this election it felt especially important to make sure we got out and voted. We just went and cast our votes. Salinn's first time voting.
ReplyDeleteIt did feel especially important, Nikki. So much at stake. Although we still do not know how everything will play out, we have prayerfully done our part and now we wait to see what God will do.
DeleteHow exciting for Salinn to vote for the first time!
That Abby! What a corker that reminder is.
ReplyDeleteIt is, isn't it, Vee? And yes, Abby is amazing. Such a blessing to blogdom!
DeleteThanks Mrs. T. so happy you used the graphic. Looks wonderful on here.
ReplyDeleteThank YOU, Abby! I had been trying to think of what patriotic graphic I had that could be used for this post. And then this showed up! Thanks for your generosity!
DeleteI am still up at this ridiculous hour - to see the end result of this election! I have prayed much and often during the process and promise to pray for our new president every day....
ReplyDeleteI told myself I would not even listen to or look at any election coverage until this morning. It was all in God's hands anyway, though that does not absolve us of our responsibility to pray and vote. I've also been praying much through the process, and will surely continue to pray for our president-elect and God's hand of protection upon our country.
DeleteThe Lord is gracious and faithful to us, that is one thing we can always count on! Thankful today, and every day for the blessings of the Lord in our lives. Our hope is in Him anyway, and not in this world, and that thought always brings me comfort. But, it does seem like today is a day we can rejoice in!
