Yum! My garden didn't do so well. I think I planted too late in the season, but we had a crazy spring (cold and wet) into an immediate hot, hot summer. Oh, well, next year.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments. You sound like a good grandma, helping your granddaughter to prepare for life
Hi!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by! My garden isn't great either, but that Swiss chard was definitely a treat. I do need to get out there and so some more weeding, but it's very hot up here too -- though not as hot as in the midwest.
Thanks for the grandparenting encouragement!
God bless,
Mrs. T
Sounds tasty. I have had lettuce and kale along with a few peas and an abundance of radishes.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a wonderful "warm" weekend.
Oh, it sure is warm! I am thankful we have a swimming pool and that this weekend we can use it for the first time this year.
ReplyDeleteMr.T picked some lettuce too, today, and we need to harvest some more Swiss chard. Our first try planting that, but won't be the last!
