The upcoming week doesn't look too crazy (yet!) so I am hoping it will be more productive.
Wonderful! I'd love to read more about the children's devotional book.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the encouragement, Gina!
ReplyDeleteAbout the devotional book -- every spring I write a daily devotional for kids to use during the summer months. It's mostly for the kids who are part of our church's children's ministry (in our case, Patch the Pirate Club). Typically kids' ministries like this go through the school year and take summer off, but we realize that daily time with the Lord is important all year round, so that is why we provide a daily devotional for summer. I've written about 7 or 8 of them now and am at the point where I can just update older ones. This year I had to write a few additional pages to make it fit the needs of this summer. I will write more about it, probably in a blog post, when I finish the book.
