January goals

Graphic from Sally Clarkson
 A new month and a new year!  Here are some of my goals for January:

* Keep up with Flylady's homemaking zones of the week if possible
* Renew my driver's license
* Complete a Scripture journaling plan for January
* Set some yearly goals for 2022
* Begin reading through the New Testament
* Do a 4-week study of Ephesians with Good Morning Girls
* Post in this blog several times per week
* Post in my Christmas blog as often as possible
*  Prepare for and attend a monthly ladies' Bible study
* Continue planning for family birthday gifts and crafting any handmade ones
* Craft some homemade Christmas gifts and decorations
* Spend a little time on some UFO craft projects
* Continue stocking my Etsy shop and continue selling vintage items
* Spend some time on my trust responsibilities
* Write at least 4 encouraging notes to friends and family
* Help and encourage my local daughter as I'm able
* Plan meals with a greater emphasis on healthy eating
* Possibly plan a getaway with my hubby
* Memorize several Bible verses and review some older ones
* Get back into our study of the book of Daniel with younger believers
* Continue to help a widowed friend with the challenges of life in general
* Limit sugar; begin a 40-day sugar fast mid-month
* Get to bed by 9 pm each night  -- maybe even 8:30
* Drink enough water each day
* Walk and/or exercise at least 4 times each week

  2. Wonderful goals. And yes, the healthy goals are indeed valuable. I learned the hard way this holiday to stay away from nuts and sweets and just too much "good stuff". My body rebelled and now I am paying for it. But God is good and He is helping me to get better one day at a time. Praise God, but now it's up to me to maintain that balance. Yep! With God, ALL things are possible! Happy New Year!

    1. Thanks, Pam! It's funny, isn't it, how things that taste so good are often not all that good for us?

      Yes, balance is so important!
