Show & Tell Friday for May 29
For show & tell today, here are a few little things... just a potpourri of special little items.
I was given this bluebird dish years ago. Sorry the photo does not do it justice. This little dish (the top lifts off) usually sits on my dresser, but is currently on my hutch to celebrate spring. Continuing on a blue theme, here is a dear little aqua blue glass dish I was given some time ago. The edge is a soft milky white. Here is a side view of the same dish. These old salt & pepper shakers came from my great-aunt's collection. This little kids' cocoa tin is so cute. This little liver extract bottle was found in in an old house. This pretty little glass dish is decorated with colorful poppies. I always thought of this little dish as a maple leaf. Now I think it's an ivy leaf. Last but not least, here is a lovely sugar bowl from my mother-in-law. I love the soft green trim. This is eventually going to my daughter out west who loves roses. We just need to wait until we're flying out there sometime and have room to carry it safely. That is my simple Show & Tell for today. Thanks so much for stopping by to visit my kitchen table! I love company here in my kitchen, so be sure to leave a comment so I'll know you've visited! I'll answer your questions and comments here on the blog unless you request otherwise.
I live in scenic northern New England with my handsome husband. We're empty-nesters with a bunch of adorable grandchildren. We love (tent) camping and traveling, but don't get away as often as we'd like to.
What pretties!! (liver extract? yuck! cute bottle though:)
