It's really helped me a lot with remembering things to be thankful for each week. So here goes:
1. Breakfast out with my hubby on Saturday and a coffee date (below) on Wednesday. Always a treat to spend quality time together!
2. Colorful foliage still, in spite of wind and rain that has knocked a lot of the leaves off.
3. Being able to get out for a walk nearly every day, in spite of rain. And new sneakers! The photos below were taken along our walking route last year. I haven't brought the camera along at all this year.
4. A good month of sales in my Etsy shop. Below you see a few of the things that have sold recently.

Health, family, and the blessings of home.....and friends.
ReplyDeleteI’m thankful for my soon to be 82 year old husband is strong in body and mind and I praise God for every day we have together.
Those are such wonderful blessings from the Lord, Linda!
DeleteI love your Five, Mrs T. Marvin took me to lunch today and we talked a bit about our trip to New England next fall and I told him I wanted to try to meet up with you while we are up there. I am going to start praying that it will work out. One of the blessings of having him home is going to lunch and then to the library. We got a large pizza so we have dinner for tomorrow evening as well. Hope your weekend is blessed.
ReplyDeleteOh, I hope it does work out, Arlene! We are starting to make plans for next fall also and Lord willing, one of them will be an entire week at our favorite place in the Great North Woods. We have not made that reservation yet. The only other absolute plan for the fall is the couples' retreat at The Wilds of NE on Oct. 11-12.
DeleteLunch and the library -- now that does sound like a good plan in retirement! We can share ideas. My hubby tells me he is going to take over the housework once he retires!
Hopefully we will not be that far from home when you and Marvin are in New England.
A wonderful Friday 5! I'm wondering if that donut is an apple spice one? Mmmm
ReplyDeleteNope -- it was a pumpkin spice one -- and very delicious indeed!
DeleteFive wonderful blessings!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Terri! I'm really enjoying Friday five.
DeleteIt is the sweet simple things of life that really are the biggest blessings! Precious date time with your husband, so fun! It has been a beautiful year for fall here too! So exciting to see your sales on etsy too! Hope you are having a lovely fall weekend :)
ReplyDeleteSo true, Marilyn, that the sweet simple things of life are the biggest blessings. I don't think my husband and I will tire of date time even after he retires.
DeleteYes, seeing sales on Etsy has been exciting. I'm starting to list more Christmas things the past couple of days.
