So here are six more posts from the December archives. We start with a wonderful crockpot recipe from 2012 for Round Steak Italiano -- ...
Those look yummy and i am with you Mrs T....that does seem like a lot of cinnamon. I may try it by the recipe for the first time just to see, I love cinnamon but sometimes it can be overpowering. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHi again Arlene --
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy these bars! They are especially good with a cup of coffee alongside. Let me know what you think if you try them with the larger amount of cinnamon.
Have a wonderful day!
I just tried these this afternoon, and they are delicious! I used 3 tsp. of cinnamon and that seemed to be just right for us. I also loved how easy they are to make and they sure make the house smell good! I will make these again!
ReplyDeleteMrs. Smith, I am glad you liked the cookie bars! I will make them again soon myself. Tomorrow my hubby and I have errands to do in another town... one that has a supermarket which carries many gluten free items at reasonable prices. I will plan to pick up a few gluten free yellow cake mixes for recipes like this.
ReplyDeleteThey do indeed make the house smell wonderful as they bake!
yay a you tried them! aaaand you used a gluten free cake mix...i have yet to try that :o)
ReplyDeleteHello, Anna!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting at my kitchen table this morning! Yes, I did try the bars and we loved them. The gluten free cake mix worked out perfectly.
And, as you can see above, one of my readers, Mrs. Smith tried the bars too and her family loved them as well. Thanks for sharing such a good recipe!
God bless,
Mrs.T
