Menu Plan Monday for March 5
Monday again! This is a very special Monday -- March 5 -- for it is the birthday of two of my grandchildren! Sarah is turning six today and Sam is turning three. This looks like a very different week, menu-wise. Mr. T is eating a clear liquid diet in preparation for some medical tests tomorrow, so I'm not planning much of anything for supper for Monday and Tuesday. Friday we may be having supper guests or maybe not, and Sunday we'll be having friends come for a visit of a few days and haven't decided yet whether to use the crockpot or take them out to a favorite restaurant. But here's my attempt at a menu plan:MONDAY: Potato Cheese Soup (leftover from last Friday), Cornbread (leftover from Sunday)TUESDAY: Maybe leftover soup and cornbread; depends on how Mr. T is feelingWEDNESDAY: Pizza Frittata, Breakfast Potatoes, Grape TomatoesTHURSDAY: Macaroni & Cheese, Herbed Carrots & Green Beans, ColeslawFRIDAY: Chicken Pie, Squash, Coleslaw, Cranberry Sauce, Cranberry-Apple CrispSATURDAY: Fusilli con Carciofi, Salad, Wheat Italian BreadSUNDAY: Either eating out (Chinese food) OR Chicken Chop Suey (crockpot recipe from Patty's Pantry), Salad, Ice Cream, Cookie/Candy tray (goodies from freezer)
Happy Birthday to Sarah & Sam!!!

Oh how fun, birthdays!
ReplyDeleteI still have a bit of leftover potato soup but it'll probably be eaten at lunch today.
Sounds like a good plan for a week that has so many variables in it. Happy Birthday to the grands, and I hope your husband's tests go well!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday wishes to Sarah and Sam!
ReplyDeleteIt's Mother-In-Law Day! Don't forget to give her a hug today!
Hi ladies,
ReplyDeleteThanks to all of you for stopping by my kitchen table! I hope that all of you will have a wonderful week.
Susan - my husband's tests did go well. He sees the doctor in 3 weeks for a follow-up.
God bless,
Mrs.T
