Seen this morning

I've been such a delinquent blogger as of late, but I just had to share this.  Mr. T were sitting on our back deck for our quiet times, something we love to do when the weather cooperates.  It had rained overnight, and all of the leaves on the trees and bushes were still wet.  As the sun rose, the leaves gleamed so beautifully in its light.  As we watched, we noticed that some leaves actually had one or more water drops suspended from them, and that these drops were gleaming like beautiful diamonds.

I didn't feel I could take time to go get a camera to capture the moment, so I dug back through my photos later to add this picture of strawberry leaves similarly edged in water drops.

So lovely!  It always amazes me that God provides so much beauty in this fallen world.

  1. Good Morning! I am sorry that I've not been around much lately...with the problems on Blogger regarding the updating of the feed, and also my own negligence in getting around to people, I am way behind. I just saw this post and love the picture of the dewdrops/raindrops on the leaves of that strawberry plant...that is so perfect! I love it when God blesses us with little diamonds from heaven...and how wonderful that we see them and acknowledge them, because they are a little gift to brighten our day! Thank you for sharing them with us. I hope you are doing well and getting ready for fall in your region. I imagine it is starting to cool down a bit and things are beginning to change in the trees and atmosphere. I miss autumn in New England. It's very different here in Florida, but still there are some pleasant changes, and hopefully our temperatures will begin to cool down and stay down for a while now too. That is always a blessing to us! Take care and may God continually bless you with His beauty all around you.
