Sunday morning scenes

On our way to church Sunday morning, we saw some beautiful scenes.  Every bush and small shrub was coated with sparkly, glittery frost.
Mr. T snapped a few photos with the Kindle.
We were in the right place at the right moment to capture this effect.
Although we'll be happy when winter is over and done with, we still appreciate its beauty.

  1. The snow and ice is pretty. I think I would freeze to death, but it is still beautiful.

    1. It does get pretty cold, Sandy. Snow, ice, and frost can be very beautiful, but there is a limit!😊. We saw some springlike weather in February and sure hope to see some more soon.

  2. At this late date, you are doing well to appreciate the beauty of winter. Talk about keeping sunny thoughts! ☀️

Have you ever noticed that spring rarely arrives early or even on time? All the other seasons do, most of the time.

    1. That's a very good point, Vee. We may see a bit of springlike weather early on, but it doesn't stay.

I am tired of winter, but those icy, frosty bushes were so gorgeous sparkling in the sun. It was impossible not to appreciate them!πŸ˜‰

  3. Oh my....I admire you so for not being sad at seeing snow in March. ( Of course you may see it in April as well.) Come spend a week with me in NoAla.

    1. Wish we could come to visit, Arlene!😊 Maybe someday!

You're right -- we could very easily see snow in April. That would not be at all unusual.

  4. Winter sure can put on a show, even when spring is supposed to be showing up, lol! Loved your pictures, very beautiful to see!

    1. You're right, Marilyn. Possibly this could be the last show winter puts on, but more likely not. Might as well enjoy its beauty regardless of what the calendar says!πŸ˜‰

  5. Thanks, Teri! Glad you are enjoying the blog.

It doesn't feel much like spring here, or at the Maine coast, where we have just returned from. It will get here eventually!😊
