Over the past few months, I have made loads of simple little crafts for March and April birthdays, mostly for grandchildren. I don't have time today to post all of the links to the project instructions, printables I used, and so on. My plan is that over the next few days, either here or on my Christmas blog (since these are handmade gifts), I will blog about the various projects individually and share the links. For today, just a potpourri of pictures!

I just love to see the gifts you make! So many things I wouldn't even think to do. I think I want to be a Grandma like you! ;) Love the scarves; they look very similar to the one a friend gave me for my birthday.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Susan! I so appreciate your sweet comments! They are just simple crafts but the kids seemed pleased. (I gave my 10-year-old granddaughter the dishcloth and tea towel along with a cookbook and a couple other kitcheny items, for kitchen cleanup after she cooks. The fruity fabric I used was one she had particularly admired.)
ReplyDeleteThese scarves are crocheted; think you had mentioned the person who made yours did so just weaving it (for lack of a better word) with her fingers. I know that's another method that can be used to make these, along with knitting.

ReplyDeleteThanks, Arlene! My daughter loved it too and now wants one like it! I've posted the link. You should be able to find the Sashay yarn at most any craft store that carries yarn. Our Walmart even has it, but they carry a limited amount of colors. I did find this blue/green yarn there.
