I failed to take a picture of the entire hutch before, but have done so now, and here it is. Now you can get the full effect. |
My fall ribbon board in the front hallway! |
Simple grapevine wreath on the front door. I usually keep the ivy but add other elements seasonally. |
Fall slate on the front porch. This is the first time I have displayed this. I wasn't sure about the pink barn, but I love the effect on the rustic porch. |

NICE! :) I was thinking about your ribbon board last night. I must have run across it on your blog before. If I can find a spot for it, I am going to have to get one - such a neat idea. (I like the pink barn, by the way. The slate is so cute!)
ReplyDeleteMrs. Smith, I have the directions for making a ribbon board here on the blog. It is very simple -- foam core board, fabric, thumbtacks and ribbon. If you scroll down to the very bottom of the page, you will find a list of Popular Posts. I think "Making a Simple Ribbon Board" is the third one down. Some of the comments also offer ideas for decorating with a ribbon board. One lady suggested making one for the kitchen to post recipes on. Have fun with it!
ReplyDeleteGlad you like the slate. I am not sure, but I think I got that on clearance at Jo-Ann's for next to nothing.
Thanks for stopping by!
I love your fall decorations! This is my favorite time of year! My kids love to decorate the house for fall, especially our "Wall of Things We are Thankful for:"
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Hi!
ReplyDeleteOh, a "Wall of Things We Are Thankful For" sounds like such a good idea, especially with kids! I imagine they are coming up with many different things they are thankful for!
Thanks for stopping by to visit -- I know you are a busy mom!
God bless,
Mrs.T
