Just a quick post tonight ... Mr. T and I got home around 7:30 from a most refreshing time away. The time was brief -- we left home around 4:30 yesterday afternoon -- but God expanded and blessed our time in a marvelous way. We were at a couples' retreat at The Wilds of New England, and we feel as refreshed as if we had been away for at least a week. Ample time in God's Word; uplifting, truly edifying music; time out in God's beautiful creation; plenty of coffee and ice cream; great fellowship with like-minded couples -- all of this combined to refresh us exceedingly. If you live in New England or a nearby state, you may want to consider attending one of the retreats at TWNE next fall. We highly recommend it! You will be refreshed -- guaranteed.

ReplyDeleteWe did, Arlene. It was indeed a wonderful break from the usual every day busyness of our lives. There is something about the combination of God's Word, His people, and His creation that is just so refreshing.
