Writing Countdown Challenge, Day 11

What a busy day! I had really hoped to get a lot accomplished today, but I sure didn't get as much done as I'd hoped. Lots of phone calls, among other things. We're having friends over for dinner tomorrow night, so one thing I did today was to make an ice cream cake for dessert. A good make-ahead thing. I also made a broccoli salad (for tonight's supper) and a quiche-y crabmeat dish (also for tonight's supper).

I spent much of the afternoon working on another, more urgent, writing project. In addition to the summer devotional book, I had also promised to write a skit for the Patch Club's closing concert. I managed to get that nearly finished this evening, as I want to have it for the leaders on Sunday. They plan to start practice for the closing concert on Wednesday.

As for the devotional book, here's all that got done:

* I wrote 3 daily devotional pages.

Pages still to write: 11
