Writing Countdown Challenge, Day 11

What a busy day! I had really hoped to get a lot accomplished today, but I sure didn't get as much done as I'd hoped. Lots of phone calls, among other things. We're having friends over for dinner tomorrow night, so one thing I did today was to make an ice cream cake for dessert. A good make-ahead thing. I also made a broccoli salad (for tonight's supper) and a quiche-y crabmeat dish (also for tonight's supper).

I spent much of the afternoon working on another, more urgent, writing project. In addition to the summer devotional book, I had also promised to write a skit for the Patch Club's closing concert. I managed to get that nearly finished this evening, as I want to have it for the leaders on Sunday. They plan to start practice for the closing concert on Wednesday.

As for the devotional book, here's all that got done:

* I wrote 3 daily devotional pages.

Pages still to write: 11

  1. You're almost done!!! This week has been a bust for me on getting things done toward our move. You encourage me to keep going - every little bit helps!

  2. Wow, awesome job! You are almost down to the single digits in your countdown now!! :) How exciting. Won't it feel good to have this one done?!

  3. Thanks for the encouragement, Carrie and Susan! You both have encouraged me this week, too!

Thanks so much for stopping by to visit my kitchen table! I love company here in my kitchen, so be sure to leave a comment so I'll know you've visited! I'll answer your questions and comments here on the blog unless you request otherwise.
